Seedance 2.0 is ByteDance's second-generation video model, released in February 2026 on a unified architecture that generates footage and synchronized audio together. Where earlier versions took text or a single image, this generation accepts text, images, audio, and video material as input, including subject-reference images that lock a character or product across shots. Clips range from 4 to 15 seconds at resolutions from 480p up to 4K, across widescreen, vertical, and square aspect ratios. The reference system plus native sound makes it a strong fit for brand-consistent campaigns, character-driven series, and any workflow where the same subject must appear across many generated scenes.
