UnslopNemo 12B v4.1 is TheDrummer's November 2024 fine-tune of Mistral Nemo, a 12-billion-parameter model with a 32K context window and an April 2024 knowledge cutoff. The "unslop" name describes the goal: strip out the stock assistant register, hedging, and recurring turns of phrase that make base instruct models read as generic in narrative work. It is built for adventure writing and roleplay, holding a scene and a character voice across long exchanges rather than resolving every turn into helpful summary. Weights ship in BF16 with community GGUF quantizations available. At 12B it is the light end of the creative-writing catalogue, cheap enough to run per-turn in interactive fiction engines, roleplay front-ends, and chat products where response cost matters more than raw reasoning depth.
